Mariposa Folk Festival is a member-based, registered charitable arts organization. The mandate of the Mariposa Folk Festival (MFF) is the promotion and preservation of folk art in Canada through song, story, dance and craft. The primary vehicle which MFF uses to fulfil its mandate is the annual Mariposa Folk Festival. The Festival is one of the longest running folk festivals in North America.
