The Mariposa Folk Festival values personal growth and development, and seeks to expose patrons to ideas and experiences that will enable them to learn and grow. To further this objective, a Community Village has been established as part of the annual festival to allow not-for-profit organizations and government agencies to provide information and answer questions about important community issues.

To be eligible for a booth within Community Village, organizations must be either not-for-profit organizations or non-profit government agencies, and must be well established in the region. Membership organizations must be open to the public at large to join. Religious organizations, political entities, for-profit businesses and for-profit government organizations are ineligible to apply.

Retail sales and fundraising are not permitted, and any breach of this provision will result in immediate forfeiture of the booth space.

Applications will be judged based on their fit with the program criteria. Space is limited in the Community Village so not all eligible organizations will be accepted. All decisions of the Festival organizers will be final.

Successful applicants will receive:
• designated booth space with a maximum of 15 foot frontage in the area set aside for the Community Village
• 2 transferable weekend festival passes and 2 transferable parking passes for use by those staffing the booth
• profile of the organization in the Festival program

Successful applicants will provide:
• their own booth structure, tables, chairs, and all equipment required for their display
• their own set-up and tear-down including loading into and out of the site.
• indemnification of the Festival and its officers, employees etc. against all claims through acceptance of the Memorandum of
Agreement
• if requested by the Festival organizers, a certificate of insurance naming the Festival as an Additional Insured.
