James Campbell

James Campbell is a singer-songwriter from Elora Ontario, whose music blends heartfelt storytelling with reflections on love, loss, and life’s turning points. As a performer, he has appeared at festivals including Mariposa Folk Festival, Riverfest Elora, Living Roots Festival, and Roots North Music Festival, while also performing in venues across Canada and internationally.

He is also the founder and host of Elora Unplugged, an intimate interview and performance series that brings audiences into conversation with artists through storytelling, discussion, and live music. This year, James is expanding the concept to Mariposa Folk Festival with Mariposa Unplugged, a special series of artist conversations and acoustic performances designed to give festivalgoers a deeper look into the creative journeys behind the music.
