Glimmerjean and Goode

Glimmerjean & Goode is a Toronto-based rock duo led by Linny Glimmerjean and Scotty B. Goode. The two began writing music together in 2016, drawing inspiration from 60s Laurel Canyon, 70s classic rock, Delta blues, disco, and beyond.

Starting in 2025, they began releasing a series of singles spanning a decade of collaboration, each track highlighting a different facet of their shared influences while maintaining a distinct identity. Their first single, “Rosavelle,” was recorded without initial plans to promote the band or record an EP as a duo. Following its release, things started to take off from here.

Over the past year, they have performed at a variety of venues around Toronto, including the iconic Horseshoe Tavern, opening for Goldie Boutillier, at Monarch Tavern for Exclaim’s Class of 2026, and the 2025 DoWest Festival.

The duo, backed by their full-power band, released their latest single, “Injured Romantics,” on February 13, accompanied by a music video scheduled for release on the 20th. The song is a moody, rhythm-driven disco-rock track that delves into the existential nature of life and love, blending darker lyrical themes with an infectious groove. “Injured Romantics” is a step into the sonic direction of their first and forthcoming EP, set to release in late 2026.

On Saturday, February 21st, they perform at the Danforth Music Hall, opening for Goldie Boutilier. The band is thrilled to be part of this year’s Mariposa lineup and is excited for what else 2026 has in store.
