Dan Edmonds

Dan Edmonds is a musician and visual artist based in Kjipuktuk (Halifax, NS). Over the course of three critically acclaimed solo albums, his work has drawn praise for its evocative songwriting and inventive arrangements, garnering over two million streams across digital platforms.

As an arranger and engineer, Edmonds has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Dorothy Paas, Jasmyn, Luke Lalonde, Juilanna Riolino, Georgia Harmer, and Jennifer Castle. His work as a performing artist has taken him across international stages, opening for acts such as Broken Social Scene, Julien Baker, Father John Misty, and The National.

Currently pursuing his Master’s research at NSCAD University, Edmonds explores the intersection of new musical applications of computer technology and the psycho-acoustic effects of noise pollution on health. When not immersed in sound, he can often be found tending to his garden.
