In anticipation of Murray McLauchlan at Mariposa, here’s Whispering Rain

Posted on June 13, 2013

He has ten Juno Awards, more than twenty albums, and is one Canada’s most loved songwriters and performers. His tunes are catchy and rich, and an integral part of our collective conscience. He’s a favourite son of Mariposa Folk Festival, and even designed the Lion Face Sun Logo in use today (see above in the masthead of this blog).

This video captures the beautiful, intimate experience of Murray McLauchlan in concert, and it’s a perfect pick for a day that looks like rain. See him live on the Saturday Evening Main Stage at Mariposa Folk Festival 2013.
