SHEBAD is a Guelph based music and art project that falls on the exploratory side of Indie Soul. Grounded by jazz-influenced melodies, danceable basslines and a transcendent voice, the music is immediately compelling and curious. Their sound as described by CBC’s Laila Biali “Music that exists in a sonic world of its own”. Their debut EP, ‘show us it’s real’, has been featured on NPR’s KCRW, CBC Radio, and multiple Spotify Curated playlists. Completely independent, their music is recorded and produced at home.
